BUYER BEWARE!1. This is NOT a boxed set of several novels: Alpha Games is one book arbitrarily divided into 4 "books" to make you think you are getting more than you are.
2. I found this author by looking at the best-selling authors were in this genre. I found numerous title by Terry Bolryder and thought I had found a great prolific author "a la Nora Roberts".
3. Writing style: think early Silhouette or Harlequin novels. She loves him, he loves her, but she needs him to tell her "I love you", not just show it. BUT she won't tell him what the problem is. He is supposed to figure out what her problem is and fix it.
4. Ms Bolryder needs to read better authors in her genre, because her werewolves are not believable:
- a 22 year old female werewolf who cannot remember that she will need a change of clothes each time she "changes"
- same female is an alpha female, whose deceased mother was a powerful alpha, yet she is a dithering wimp and also cannot fight. Patricia Briggs' omega wolf has more backbone than this alpha, Kasey Armstrong's Elena would walk over her without noticing and Ilona Andrews characters in any of their worlds would have no use for her.
- These werewolves speak perfect English even in their wolf form. There is no "wolf" communication or "telepathy" among packmates.
- When the hero and heroine are kidnapped and taken away, they are miraculously found by their packmates through a sentence-long explanation that makes the FBI or NSA wish they could ever be as effective!

I am so happy that Terry Bolryder put this box set out. It really helps as each "book" is in parts so it can be confusing which ones to read in which order. And one of the books has 10 - yes 10! - alphas fighting for the affections of one lucky lady. (and these alphas are swoon worthy!) Warning many of the men find their true mates in other books but some don't. Hopefully, we don't need to wait long to know what happens with them, especially Lucky and Fifi
Terry Bolryder delivers again with this set.
I've read Alpha Contender as stand alone books and they were terrifiic. It's a typical girl gets drafted by a stranger into staying in a house with a ton of hot guys, fighting over her, but she only wants one of them. I don't want to spoil anyone's fun, but let's just say Lindon doesn't know what hit him.
I have read the Alpha Games seris as well and I remember that I loved it. It's why I have Terry Bolryder on my favorites list in the first place. But I don't remember enough to leave a review on that series. I'm looking forward to re-reading that one!
I bought this because I loved the other series and I now get to read the Alpha Rogue series that I have not yet had time for.

The author is sub par to other authors I have read. The repetitive nature of the writing style is irritating, and the books are at best, mundanely written. Story line and characters are the only reason that I am giving this four stars. The characters are likable, relate-able, and that makes the writing seem less terrible. The story lines are good, could have been a little more drawn out.
This should not be a multiple book series, for any of them. One book per brother's story would have been more fitting. According to my kindle, the first four books are only 22% of the story. I would surmise that the entire first book "series" Is a max of 450 pages. The boxed set should have only been a trio of stories. One book for each brother, especially since each story has more of pause like a chapter ending, than a suspenseful ending of a book.
For a bit of reference I am a well read 22 year old. So make your own distinction based upon that.
My preference is for supernatural books, and this story delivers supernatural from a different perspective, less gore and bloodshed, more romance and drama.
I am in SHOCK! What an amazing deal for fans. I have all of these books individually, then I got the boxed sets--now I have them all in one set! Talk about fan appreciation!
Each book is a 5 star winner. The characters are likeable, some serious with problems to overcome and the strength to do it--some funny and spicy with a gift for snark! That's right, a different guy--gal but they all have one thing in common--they are sexy things.

I think it's hard to review 3 series at once but I will do my best.
The characters are well developed and give the stories and lots of personality. I loved how the main brothers flowed throughout all the stories. In the Alpha Contender series there are several characters. These different personalities give the book depth. You get caught up in their lives and it all feels so real. Great characters!
I enjoyed all the storylines. Each book was exciting and very entertaining. They all had action, drama, suspense and romance. The sex scenes were not vulgar or crude. There was a sensual passion that made you feel like the right people ended up together each time. Nothing can stop true love.
Alpha Contender is by far my favorite shifter romance series that I have read. I couldn't put that down. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time I read that series. Loved it!
I love Terry's books. I actually started with her most recent series and now I am going back to the beginning to read all her books in order. I can't wait for the next exciting adventure.
